ISLAMABAD, Sept. 26 (Xinhua) -- At least six people were killed and seven others injured when a train was derailed by bomb blast in eastern Pakistan on Friday, according to private GEO TV channel.
Explosives were planted on the track and detonated, derailing a train in Bahawalpur city in eastern Punjab province, reported GEO.
Six people including one woman and three children were killed and seven others sustained injuries.
The injured have been shifted to a nearby hospital for treatment.
The GEO report earlier said 15 people were injured.
No group has claimed responsibility for the blast.
